Job title: Superintendent Hygiene

Role purpose:
Lead and manage the Occupational Hygiene function by developing hygiene strategies, standards, and monitoring programs to ensure compliance, reduce operational risks, and drive continuous improvement across the business. Collaborate with operational leaders to strengthen occupational hygiene capability and deliver sustainable health and safety outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Occupational Hygiene team.
- Develop and implement health and hygiene management plans and monitoring programs.
- Ensure compliance with occupational hygiene legislation, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze occupational exposure data and provide risk mitigation recommendations.-
- Improve hygiene systems, procedures, and operational controls to support a safe work environment.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on occupational health and hygiene risks.
- Promote hygiene awareness and training across operational teams.
- Investigate hygiene-related incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, regulators, and external organizations.
- Manage the Occupational Hygiene team budget and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Job requirements:
- Degree or qualification in Occupational Hygiene, Public Health, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant occupational hygiene experience.
- Knowledge of Mongolian health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in Mongolian and English.
- Experience in risk management, project implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Proficient in MS Office and database systems.
- Valid driver's license required.
