Position Summary

Genesis Hotel Services is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee day-to-day construction activities on hotel renovation and improvement projects. The Superintendent will manage field operations, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, maintain project schedules, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and field operations on hotel renovation projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to keep work moving according to schedule.
• Review plans, drawings, and project specifications to ensure work is completed correctly.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and workmanship.
• Maintain daily reports, schedules, project documentation, and site records.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are available when needed.
• Identify and address field issues, delays, and scheduling conflicts.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers and company leadership regarding project status.
• Enforce jobsite safety requirements and company policies.
• Conduct site walks and inspections to ensure projects meet quality expectations.
• Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and final completion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction supervision or superintendent experience.
• Hotel renovation, commercial construction, or hospitality construction experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with basic construction technology and project documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including 100% travel.
