FLINT is seeking a Superintendent with industrial experience managing civil construction projects for a temporary position in Calgary, Alberta. In this position, you will enjoy a 10-days in and 4-days out schedule, 10-hour workdays, LOA of $150/day, travel pay, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

What would you be doing?

• Provide supervision to multiple crews and services.
• Prepare, monitor, and drive project schedule with the operations team to ensure budget and timelines are met.
• Estimate and manage project labour and material requirements.
• Establish, implement, and oversee site safety plans and quality control measures,
• Manage resources to maintain and enhance critical equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably in civil/construction projects.
• Valid Journeyperson certificate.
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
  • Standard First Aid
  • Ground Disturbance
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Must have own reliable transportation to site.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
