The Construction Superintendent,is accountable for the progress and successful completion of mutli-family construction sites on time, under budget, and in accordance with project drawings, specifications and other contractual agreements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute pre-job plan
• Determine construction techniques to be used to construct the project
• Oversee quality control of all construction
• Conduct weekly staff meetings and production meetings
• Maintain project schedule creating a 2-3 week look ahead
• Develop a recovery schedule
• Appropriately allocate manpower and resources
• Manage all vendors and subcontractors on a daily and weekly basis. Identifying and resolving problems as they arise
• Maintain a clean and orderly job site
• Track and manage subcontractor project scopes proactively identifying potential issues
• Other duties as directed by management

Requirements

• 5 years’ minimum commercial or multi-family superintendent experience
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent bending stooping and reaching in all directions.
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Will be working in outdoor conditions exposed to the elements.
• Will be walking on uneven ground in a construction zone.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs.

Education: Degree in Construction Management or other related field preferred, or equivalent on the job experience.
