Job Description
The Superintendent oversees daily field operations for industrial projects, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and compliance. This role manages crews, coordinates multiple trades, communicates with clients, and ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The Superintendent must be highly organized, safety-focused, and capable of problem-solving on complex industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site project activities, including scaffolding, insulation, and metal cladding.
- Conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to enforce compliance.
- Review and interpret project drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan workflow and material needs.
- Coordinate delivery and staging of materials, equipment, and tools.
- Communicate progress, issues, and updates with clients and project management.
- Inspect work for quality, compliance, and adherence to project specifications
- Identify and mitigate site hazards, resolve conflicts, and make real-time decisions to keep the project on track.
- Maintain accurate reports, including daily logs, safety reports, and project documentation.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience supervising industrial construction or scaffolding projects.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, insulation installation, and metal man operations.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from blueprints and project specifications.
- Proven leadership and team management skills; ability to coordinate multiple crews and trades simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, crews, and project management.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Solid understanding of OSHA and industry safety standards, including fall protection and confined space requirements.
- Proficient in project documentation and reporting, including daily logs, and inspection reports
Travel and Mobility Requirements
- Physical stamina to walk job sites, climb scaffolding, and work in industrial environments.
- Site Transition: Must be willing to transition between project sites as needed to support high-priority initiatives and company objectives.
- General Travel: A willingness to travel to various project sites as required is essential for this role.

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred to facilitate communication with diverse crews and stakeholders.
