The UniSuper Advice Business Unit operates as a Centre of Excellence, integrating all channels of advice, education and guidance, digital, professional wealth management, and external adviser partnerships within a single system. The team provides strategic, operational, and governance capability to deliver high-quality, professional advice and guidance that strengthens member outcomes, ensures compliance with AFSL and Trustee obligations, and positions the fund as a market leader.

The role below is plays a key part in advancing this mission through strategic partnerships and member engagement initiatives that amplify the reach, reputation, and impact of UniSuper’s advice ecosystem.

The role

The key focus of this Brisbane based role is delivering a premium member engagement and coaching experience across member locations and virtual channels. You will support members and prospective members with general advice enquiries, goal discovery and pathway guidance while improving engagement with UniSuper’s products, services and digital capabilities.

Furthermore, you will:

  • Deliver coaching-led conversations that support goal discovery and pathway guidance for members and prospective members.
  • Advise on general superannuation and UniSuper product enquiries across campus, office and virtual locations.
  • Support member progression by identifying when personal advice may be required and referring members through the appropriate advice channels.
  • Deliver digital activation by promoting online tools and member services.
  • Support strong stakeholder relationships while travelling between member, office and regional locations as required.

About you

You are passionate about superannuation and the positive impact it has on retirement outcomes. You enjoy supporting people, building relationships and delivering professional, engaging experiences while working with a high level of autonomy. In addition, you will have:

  • Strong knowledge of superannuation, with defined benefit fund experience desirable.
  • Experience handling general superannuation enquiries in an advice or relationship management environment.
  • Sound understanding of general advice and when members should be referred for personal advice.
  • Demonstrated ability to use coaching conversations to understand member needs and guide next steps.
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • RG146 compliant, with Diploma of Financial Planning or higher preferred.
