Job Description

Position Summary Provide functional and administrative support for the SUN Systems financial platform. Ensure users have appropriate access, maintain system controls, support business operations, troubleshoot issues, coordinate system changes, and maintain process documentation in compliance with internal control requirements.

Key Responsibilities

User Access Administration

  • Provision, modify, and revoke user access in SUN Systems and related applications.
  • Maintain security profiles, operator groups, and user roles.
  • Ensure access requests comply with established security controls and procedures.

System Support

  • Provide regular system testing.
  • Investigate and resolve system issues, access problems, and processing exceptions.
  • Liaise with technology teams and vendors when escalation is required.

Business Process Support

  • Support critical SUN processes such as:
  • User setup and security maintenance
  • Creditor and supplier master maintenance
  • Bank reconciliation support
  • Payment and B4B administration
  • Period open and close activities
  • Exchange rate maintenance
  • Data extraction and reporting support etc.

Controls and Compliance

  • Execute and monitor SOX/Archer controls related to SUN administration.
  • Maintain audit evidence and support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, information security requirements, and governance standards.

Documentation and Procedure Management

  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Review procedures annually and ensure process documentation reflects current practices.

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

  • Produce operational and management reports.
  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • Understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliation, and financial controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of finance system management and application security.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within Global Accounting Operations, shared services, or financial systems support.
  • Knowledge of SOX controls, audit requirements, and financial governance.
  • Experience with AI tools.
