Job Duties
Reporting to the Associate Director for Student Recruitment and Director of the Summer Workshop, the Summer Workshop for Young Writers – Assistant Director will support and assist in the Summer Workshop for Young Writers at the Kelly Writers House.

The Assistant Director for the Summer Workshop for Young Writers at the Kelly Writers House will assist and report to the Director of the Summer Workshop and assist in student activities, writing workshops, leading craft sessions, and student transportation.
Job Location
This position will be assigned to work at the Kelly Writers House.
Pay and Hours
This position pays an amount not to exceed $2500. This position is expected to average 20 to 30 hours a week, beginning 7/1/2026 through 7/26/2026
Qualifications
A high school diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Ideal candidate will have an interest or background in literary arts, community outreach, creative arts, or education.
