Introduction

Irving Woodlands is seeking a Summer Visitor Information Centre Associate to join our Parks team at the Irving Eco‑Centre: Bouctouche Dune in New Brunswick. This seasonal role supports public engagement by delivering a welcoming, informative, and safe experience while promoting environmental stewardship throughout the summer operating season.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome visitors and provide accurate, engaging information about dune ecosystems, park guidelines, and points of interest.
• Support daily operations of the Visitor Information Centre, including administrative and reception duties.
• Maintain cleanliness, signage, and overall site presentation standards.
• Promote safety, environmental quality, and positive visitor relations during high ‑traffic periods.
• Work independently to manage multiple responsibilities while upholding Irving Woodlands service standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to varied audiences.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to safety, environmental quality, and excellent customer service.
• Availability to work a rotating schedule, including weekdays and weekends, for approximately 14 weeks from June to late August (40 hours per week).
