IONCOR is an agile independent battery solutions company with Nordic roots and decades of experience as a leading partner for some of the world’s most admired brands. With a wide range of professionals in Finland and Germany, we provide modular battery products, customized solutions and contract manufacturing to energize a global energy transition. Buses, trucks, construction, material handling and agriculture are examples of categories where production volumes of equipment are lower, and end-use cases more complex and diverse, making a swift and viable transition a real challenge. This is where we come in.
We help customers master and gain maximal value out of battery technologies across the lifecycle, from early specifications and end-user support to reuse and recycling. This is how we electrify a global energy transition.
We are now looking for eager Summer Trainees to join our team. As a Summer Trainee, you can kick-start your career with gaining hands-on experience and be a part in shaping the future of battery technology.
Method Design is a manufacturing engineering function responsible for designing and implementing new production line projects, developing production tooling, defining processes, and driving lean continuous improvement initiatives. Typical activities include project management, CAD-based tooling design, time studies, and creating work instructions.
As a summer trainee in Method Design, you will be at the center of production environment development, working closely at the interface between product design and manufacturing. You will gain hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art high‑volume production environment, develop practical project management skills, and take responsibility for meaningful tasks that contribute directly to operations.
