We are seeking an Internal Audit Trainee for our Internal Audit team, which is part of the Group Governance & Compliance function.

The Group Governance & Compliance function oversees Kemira’s corporate governance framework and compliance programs. The team promotes ethical business conduct, transparency and accountability, ensuring adherence to internal policies, legal requirements, and global regulatory standards. The Internal Audit team focus on reviews or audits diverse internal processes and topics, as well as conducts internal investigations.

This position is based in Helsinki, Finland.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Supporting internal audit assignments and projects
• Assisting in the evaluation of internal controls and compliance processes
• Data collection and analysis
• Preparing documentation and reports for audit findings
• Collaborating with team members to ensure effective audit execution
  

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Solid project management skills and the ability to lead yourself
• A structured approach to managing small projects or desktop studies on chosen topics
• A collaborative and supportive spirit, contributing fresh perspectives and ideas to enhance audit efficiency and continuous improvement.
• A development-oriented mindset and ownership of dedicated tasks
• Relevant educational background in business, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering or other technical disciplines.
• Excellent spoken and written skills in English
