We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Finance to join our Finance & Accounting function.
Finance & Accounting provides accurate, timely financial reporting and ensures compliance with global accounting standards and regulations. The function supports decision-making, transparency, and financial control across the organization, enabling reliable operations and strong governance worldwide.
The trainee position is located in Salmisaari, Helsinki, with flexibility to organize your work in a hybrid work culture.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Collecting information and updating calculations in Excel for financial and tax reporting
Maintaining and updating financial records and documentation
Responding to statistical or regulatory reporting requests
Performing balance sheet reconciliations
Reviewing and archiving intercompany agreements
What you’ll bring to the team:
Understanding of accounting and taxation principles
Strong Excel skills
Good spoken and written skills in Finnish and English
Analytical mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving
Relevant educational background in finance, accounting, or taxation, such as a Bachelor’s degree or University degree
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a diverse team environment
Commitment to continuous learning and supporting Kemira’s principles: Focus on Growth, Deliver Value, and Collaborate to Succeed
