The Summer Student – Light Fleet and Telematics supports day-to-day shop operations and fleet activities. You’ll help keep light fleet equipment moving while gaining hands-on experience with parts, maintenance, and telematics. This is real exposure to how a fleet operation runs and a strong starting point for a career in the trades or fleet operations.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parts and supplies to support ongoing work
• Support technicians with basic shop tasks and day to day preparation
• Assist with telematics activities such as device checks, installs, and updates
• Receive, label, and organize parts and inventory
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and yard
• Assist with fueling, washing, and moving vehicles and equipment

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an automotive, truck and coach, heavy equipment, or parts technician program
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Interest in fleet operations, telematics, or skilled trades
• Reliable, hands on, and willing to learn
• Able to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Positive attitude and strong team mindset
