Summer Student Interns: TikTok + IG Video Creators + Editing Gurus

Cheekbone Beauty is looking for creative, chronically online, beauty-loving students who know how to stop the scroll.

If your brain is constantly thinking “this would make a good TikTok,” we should probably meet.

We are hiring Summer Student Interns to help create content for Cheekbone Beauty across TikTok, Instagram Reels and short-form social platforms. This role is perfect for students who love storytelling, editing, trends, beauty, entrepreneurship and social media culture. You do not need to be a professional makeup artist, but you do need strong creative instincts and editing skills.

This is a part-time summer internship based in Toronto and Niagara, with opportunities to shoot content at events, in-store activations and at Cheekbone Beauty HQ.

Main Responsibilities

• Shooting TikTok and Reel content with iPhone-style storytelling
• Editing fast-paced, engaging short-form videos
• Helping brainstorm hooks, captions and trending concepts
• Supporting founder-led content with Jenn Harper and the Cheekbone team
• Capturing behind-the-scenes moments, beauty tutorials, office culture and event content
• Staying on top of TikTok trends, sounds and editing styles
• Helping organize content files and uploads

Who You Are

• Someone who genuinely loves TikTok and social media
• Strong editing skills using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush or similar apps
• A creative eye for lighting, angles and storytelling
• Comfortable filming content in fast-moving environments
• Beauty lovers, content creators, students in marketing, media or communications are encouraged to apply
• Bonus points if you already create content yourself

• Job Status: Contract, summer intern
• Houry Rate: $20.00 / hour
• Part-Time: 8–16 hours per week
• Hybrid work (Toronto / Niagara region), editing can often be completed remotely.
• Flexible scheduling
