ASU FIDM invites applications for Summer Session Instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Fashion at our locations in Downtown Phoenix and the ASU California Center in Los Angeles, and through online instruction.

These positions are one summer semester appointment, part time, non-benefits eligible with no tenure implications. A typical summer instructor course load is one to two classes per summer semester.
Essential duties include: preparing course materials, responding to and evaluating student work, and availability for one-on-one assistance (via weekly office hours for on-campus classes and electronically for online classes).
The number of courses is contingent upon needs, funding, and sufficient enrollment. Individuals hired as session instructors may not hold multiple, non-benefits-eligible appointments at Arizona State University. Session instructors assignments are paid $1,500 per credit hour over the length of the session.
