We're searching for full-time, temporary Summer Programs Instructors to represent DigiPen, foster student engagement, and facilitate a positive learning environment. We seek enthusiastic, adaptable, and professional candidates eager to share their passions with our students.
Represent DigiPen to students, parents, and peers
Deliver instruction using a DigiPen-approved curriculum and manage classrooms effectively
Directly mentor students as they learn to build games, art, or audio projects
Guide students on how to work in small teams and collaborate with each other
Actively engage students in learning activities
Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to maintain a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all
Ensure prompt and effective communication with parents, peers, administrators, and students
Assist the K-12 Team with student check-in procedures
Perform other assigned duties as needed
Required Skills:
Proficiency in computer science, art and animation, game design, engineering, music and sound design, or related fields
Demonstrated ability to complete tasks promptly and thoroughly
Skill in engaging students and fostering enthusiasm for learning
Willingness to undertake diverse responsibilities
Eagerness for personal and professional growth
Adaptability to changing circumstances
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Currently a rising college sophomore or above
Bonus Skills/Attributes:
Previous experience working with K-12 students
Teaching experience
Event planning or leadership experience
Attentiveness to detail
