
Working on behalf of the Pre-College Summer Program Office, Pre-College Instructors will develop and lead one two-week, non-credit course for high school students. Courses are centered around academic themes; faculty are encouraged to develop interdisciplinary programs that speak to their own teaching and research interests, feature themes that will interest prospective students, and draw on the LMU Strategic Plan’s charge to “form leaders who transform the world.” Faculty will report to the Manager of Summer Programs and are responsible for creating and presenting lectures and presentations, planning course related field trips, and overseeing class discussions and student projects. Position may require night and weekend responsibilities while class is in session.
