We are offering three months Internship Program (July - September) for 4 th or 5 th year students in our offices in Kraków.

Nordic Semiconductor is a leading provider of IC solutions for wireless connectivity and IoT. We currently lead the field in short range wireless with over 40% market share in Bluetooth Low Energy. In addition to strengthening our efforts in our short-range technology portfolio, we have launched a highly disruptive cellular IoT offering that combines a world-class cellular modem with very low power.

We are looking for talented embedded software/system architects to contribute to our platform design efforts:

• You will be involved in defining and shaping the architecture of software and hardware components, ensuring scalability, modularity, and maintainability across multiple hardware platforms.

• You will perform system modelling to simulate system behaviour, and validate design assumptions early in the development cycle.

• You will analyse and evaluate system-level trade-offs in memory, performance, and power consumption, providing architectural guidance for product development.

• You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to define interfaces, communication protocols, and abstraction layers within Zephyr RTOS and Nordic's ecosystem.

What is required?

• Strong programming skills in C and/or C++

• Experience with embedded systems development and hardware/software co-design

• Solid understanding of software architecture principles (layering, abstraction, modularity)

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

• Experience with version control (git)

• Experience with GCC or similar embedded toolchains
