The Opportunity
Applied Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our legal team as a Corporate Legal Assistant / Paralegal. This is a hybrid position, working from the Marietta Office 3 days per week, and remotely 2 days per week. ATS provides an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with talented professionals, and gaining valuable experience in corporate law.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain internal contracts databases
- Review and approve vendor insurance documents
- Proofread and edit legal documents
- Assist with general administrative tasks
- Assist attorneys with collections and claims management
- Prepare and/or revise drafts of legal documents for attorney review
- Assist with other projects as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
- Current Law Student looking to gain experience in a Corporate Law setting
- Adobe and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and good judgement
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
