The Corporate & Investment Banking – Industry Coverage area acts as the strategic partner and primary point of contact for large corporations and institutions regarding their most critical financial decisions. Specialized in key sectors of the global economy—such as TMT, Energy, Industrials, Consumer & Retail, and Infrastructure—the team combines deep market analysis and sector trends to identify high-impact business opportunities, originate corporate transactions, and coordinate tailor-made solutions in close collaboration with product teams (M&A, Capital Markets, and Structured Finance).

Experience an immersive summer in Investment Banking

Are you passionate about the financial world and want to discover from the inside how large corporations are advised on their most strategic decisions? Do you have analytical curiosity, market vision, and a desire to learn from leading professionals in the sector?

We invite you to join our Summer Internship in Investment Banking Coverage, part of the Global Junior Talent Program at SIX. Over two months, you will immerse yourself in a formative experience designed to accelerate your development in corporate and investment banking, gaining a comprehensive view of the business, financial modeling, and strategic analysis.

You will be part of an international community of students coordinated from London, participate in multidisciplinary dynamics across different countries, and have the constant guidance of a mentor from day one to support your learning curve.

How will you collaborate and what will you learn?

During your internship, you will integrate into the team and actively collaborate in the day-to-day operations of the five strategic sectors of Coverage:

TMT · Industrials · Energy · Consumer & Retail · Construction & Infrastructure

Your role will focus on supporting the team and learning through practice in:

📊 Strategic Analysis & Market Research

• Collaborate in the preparation of market research, sector analyses, and peer comparisons to extract valuable insights.
• Assist in tracking industry trends and gathering data on companies across various geographies.
• Provide support in identifying and conducting preliminary mapping of business opportunities and potential clients.

📈 Financial Modeling & Analysis

• Learn and assist in preparing basic financial models (DCF, trading comparables, multiples, and precedent transactions).
• Help collect and structure quantitative data to support the team's proposals and recommendations.

📑 Client & Committee Materials

• Assist analysts and bankers in drafting corporate presentations, pitch books, and market notes.
• Support the gathering and synthesis of internal information for decision-making committees and management teams.
• Collaborate in document tracking of client relationships and preparing briefs ahead of meetings.

🤝 Support in Transaction Execution

• Collaborate in preparing support materials for ongoing transactions (M&A, DCM, structured finance) alongside product teams.
• Assist in gathering and organizing necessary materials for processing internal approvals and risk committees.
• Accompany the team in the operational tracking of project timelines.

You will connect with a European cohort of students in Spain, the UK, France, Germany, and Italy. You will participate in joint training sessions coordinated centrally, understanding how corporate banking operates on a pan-European scale and building your professional network from university.

• Job Shadowing

You will experience direct observation days (job shadowing) alongside bankers and analysts from the team. You will be able to attend meetings as an observer, understand how strategic priorities are debated in real-time, and get firsthand knowledge of the daily dynamics of CIB.

• Personalized Mentoring Program

You will have an assigned mentor who will guide your learning process, orient you about the industry, and resolve your technical and career-related questions.

The profile we are looking for

• Penultimate year students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, related Dual Degrees, or Engineering with a strong analytical profile.
• Fluent in French and English (C1 level required for both), as you will work in an international and local environment.
• Genuine motivation for investment banking, corporate finance, and market dynamics.
• Rigor, logical reasoning, and attention to detail in data management.
• Intellectual curiosity, personal initiative, and the ability to integrate and collaborate within a team.
