Technology Development teams drive aluminium product, process and casting innovation, supporting operations and customers through advanced laboratory, pilot-scale and digital capabilities. Our R&D Centers are located in Sunndalsøra, Karmøy and Cassopolis, Michigan, USA.
We work closely with production plants, customers and research partners to solve industrial challenges and develop future aluminium solutions. Key focus areas include digitalization and artificial intelligence.
As a summer intern, you will work alongside experienced researchers and technicians on real industrial projects, gaining hands-on experience with research, testing, analysis and technology development in an international R&D environment.
An internship at Hydro gives you the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real industrial challenges and contribute to ongoing R&D projects. You will work closely with experienced specialists, develop practical skills, and gain insight into how new technologies are transformed into industrial solutions.
You will also be part of Hydro's summer internship program, allowing you to build your network, learn more about our business, and collaborate with students from different disciplines.
