Your work will involve supporting field construction quality control activities. You may also be assigned to assist other groups such as our Materials and Infrastructure Services groups this summer and to cover out-of-town projects. You will gain valuable experience in soils, concrete, asphalt, and construction materials evaluation, and will work closely with contractors to ensure adherence to specifications. You may also assist Staff Engineers in performing field engineering activities.
You will also gain direct exposure to consulting engineering practices and have an opportunity to meet technical specialists in the areas of geotechnical engineering, environmental remediation, pavement design, and materials evaluation. We hope to involve you in more complex projects this summer.
