Summer Help

2:00pm-10:00pm

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
• Inspects castings for the following as required on work instructions
◦ External defects/scrap chute
◦ Excessive core fin or flash
◦ Bum-in sand removal
◦ High ingate removal
◦ Operates all grinders in a safe manner by inspecting grinder for proper adjustment, cracks or chips in the wheel and overall working condition. The casting inspector will report any problems to the supervisor.
◦ After inspection, removes excess metal from castings, following directions from work instructions.
◦ Places finished parts in designated shipping containers (W-9029) for shipment as specified by work instructions.
◦ Places appropriate "OK to Ship" tag on the container and writes clock number, part number and date on the tag (W-9029)
◦ Will accept other jobs in the finishing department, as needed.
◦ Maintains a clean and orderly work area
Education and Experience Requirements:
