Requirements

What You’ll Do

As an Early Childhood Educator at Encompass, you will:

· Create nurturing, engaging learning environments that support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development

· Implement the HighScope Curriculum through active learning, observation, and assessment

· Use Conscious Discipline strategies to foster safe, respectful, and inclusive classrooms

· Build strong partnerships with children and families

· Maintain developmentally appropriate, high-quality learning environments

· Collaborate with Center Directors, fellow educators, and advocates

· Participate in ongoing professional growth

What We’re Looking For

Assistant Teachers

· High school diploma required

· Two non-credit early childhood courses completed preferred

· Interest in early childhood education and a desire to continue learning and growing in the field

Lead Teachers

· Associate degree in early childhood, child development, or a related field

· Bachelor’s degrees in unrelated fields are welcome to apply

· Classroom experience and understanding of developmentally appropriate, relationship-based practice preferred

We actively support continuing education, credential advancement, and career growth at every stage.

Compensation

· Assistant Teachers: $15.00–$20.00 per hour (2 credits in ECE or both DCF-approved non-credit course in ECE)

· Lead Teachers: $18.00–$24.00 per hour (associate’s degree or higher in ECE or related field)
Pay based on education, experience, and Registry level

Current Opportunity: Our Ruth Helf Center, located at 2787 West Mason Street in Green Bay, is currently seeking a Teacher working with all ages for the hours of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This is a limited term role that will be worked over the summer.
