About the Role: May 26th - August 14th Join The Goddard School of Gahanna, OH as a Summer Camp Teacher and make a difference in children's lives this summer! We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to lead fun and engaging activities while fostering a love for learning in a safe environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement creative and educational summer camp activities for children aged 4-10
• Supervise and engage with children during indoor and outdoor playtime.
• Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through structured play and exploration.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all campers.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a cohesive and enjoyable camp experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and outdoor areas.
• Assist with registration and check-in/check-out processes for campers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young children in an educational or camp setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and parents.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and contribute to a positive camp culture.
• Flexible schedule with availability for the duration of the summer camp program.
• Background check clearance required prior to employment.
• Enthusiastic, creative, and energetic demeanor to inspire young learners.

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
