Join YouthCOR as a Summer Camp Counselor for Retro Style Summer Camp Experience and help give campers an unforgettable summer experience! If you enjoy having fun, being active, and making an impact in kids’ lives, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
Mentoring:
Build meaningful relationships with a small group of campers in a specific age range.
Leading:
Facilitate large group activities such as huddle, arts and crafts, outdoor games, and more.
Teaching:
Implement camp curriculum during literacy, STEM, and social-emotional learning sessions.
Supervising:
Ensure the safety and well-being of campers through active supervision during camp hours and field trips.
Role Modeling:
Promote positive behavior, professionalism, and a supportive environment for all campers.

Pay: $18/hour
Staff must be able to commit to all 7.5 weeks of summer camp with orientation. No vacation time will be approved.
Camp Dates:
Camp Dates: Required training and orientation for all Camp Counselors: June 15th – 18th
Camp runs June 22nd – July 31st Monday-Friday.
Schedule Options:
Part time Monday to Thursday 12:30 pm-5:30 pm, Fridays 9:30 am-5:30 pm
Full Time: Monday to Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm
