
The Bus Driver will be responsible for the daily transporting of program participants to various locations. The driver is also responsible for the operation and up-keep of the buses leased by the YMCA.
This position is seasonal (from May 11, 2026 - August 7, 2026). If you wish to continue employment with the Y after the season ends, you will need to apply with the desired department.
KNOW-HOW
Applicant must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid class C, CDL Illinois driver’s licenses with a passenger endorsement. The applicant will be required to present a copy of their driving record, medical card, and a copy of their driver license. This position requires the incumbent to possess good organizational skills and above average human relationship skills. Must possess the ability to make sound decisions and have a minimum of a high school diploma. CPR/AED certification is required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
