Job Description

The Summer Camp Admin Assistant is primarily responsible for the day-to-day coordination and management of all compliance-related camp documents, Program and Meal attendance records, including Staff records, Camper Records, Voucher Co- Payments, Summer Food Service programs. Contact and confirm trip locations and schedules.

Responsibilities

The duties listed below are the primary duties of this position but are not all the duties that may be required. Specifically, the primary duties are:

Administration• Promote and support the health and safety of all students and campers in compliance with State, County, and TSA regulations • Ensure compliance with all State of NJ, Camden County, Salvation Army, and Kroc Center Policies and Procedures• Ensure compliance with all safety and emergency procedures appropriate to the site and in conformity with procedures adopted by emergency service authorities to ensure the safety of the children and staff.• Ensure accurate medical reporting according to New Jersey Department of Health and Office of Licensing regulations and standards. Miscellaneous• Work in a team environment and encourage open communication regarding concerns/issues.• Attend and participate in professional development activities as required and assigned• Perform other duties as assigned and requested by Kroc Center Administration.• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent • Must be +21 years old• At least 1 season of summer camp compliance experience• Possesses sensitivity and awareness of diverse cultural perspectives and the ability to work with diverse populations.• Demonstrates good judgment, resourcefulness, flexibility, attention to detail, and problem-solving.• Service-oriented team player who can take initiative, work independently, and quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment.• High attention to detail, consistent reliable follow-through, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet established deadlines.• Accurate and precise handling of qualitative and quantitative data.• Must have excellent computer skills; familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).• Willing to obtain: TB test, physical, CARI, and CHRI checks; NJ Health & Safety Basics and Mandated Reporter training; First Aid & CPR for the Professional Rescuer• Must understand and support the mission of The Salvation Army.
