This position requires moving instruments and equipment up to 50 lbs both on campus and to various off-site locations in the local community for summer band rehearsal and concerts. Some driving may be needed to transport equipment to and from concert locations. The lead faculty will assign projects as needed, including photocopying, filing, distributing and collecting sheet music folders to/from musicians. Summer Band Assistants must be dependable, responsible, timely, flexible, thorough, and accountable for their work. This is a fun and enjoyable environment, and we're looking for team members with these attributes to work with us.

May be asked to drive equipment to and from concert locations, if able. Not being able to drive is not a disqualifier from this position.
If asked to drive on behalf of the university, a driving record check will be run pursuant to university policies. The individual will be required to sign an authorization to run a criminal history background and driving record check.
