Position

Program Overview  

Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive Summer Analyst Program experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts. 

Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.   

Key highlights of the program include:   

• Mentorship program to support learning and development.   
• Weekly speaker series to promote a deep understanding of the firm, our culture and share personal perspectives from employees.  
• Intensive training on our business model and how employees of the firm contribute to achieving our goals.   
• Frequent connectivity with other Summer Analysts and our program team.

• Opportunities to exchange ideas and network with peers, mentors, and senior leaders throughout the firm.  

Eligibility and Selection Criteria  

To be eligible for consideration, students must be projected 2028 graduates and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.  

POSITION 

Rockefeller Capital Management’s Platform Management team is seeking a Summer Analyst to support their team this summer. The Summer Analyst will work with team members based in the Hamilton office and assist with platform management work. The individual will assist in developing and delivering end-to-end solutions for a given business problem. The individual will be leveraging standard development tools, cloud services, along with AI models and AI enabled services, to develop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support web applications, automation tools, and technology solutions under the guidance of senior team members.
• Analyze and work with data using Python and reporting tools to support business and technology initiatives.
• Explore and apply AI and machine learning concepts to solve real-world business problems.
• Collaborate with technology and business teams to understand requirements and participate in Agile development activities.
• Gain exposure to financial services, investment management, compliance processes, and technology best practices.

Qualifications

• High school degree required
• Preferred degree in Computer Science or Analytics or any related fields.
• Prior internship experience in Python / Machine learning a plus
• Knowledge in AI and data science

Skills

• Basic programming knowledge, preferably in Python
• Understanding web application development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or modern frameworks)
• Foundational knowledge of data analysis, databases, and SQL
• Familiarity with AI/Machine Learning concepts and interest in emerging technologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with an eagerness to learn
• Thorough, organized, and able to learn quickly
• Ability to multi-task and be able to reassess priorities as situations arise
• Detail-oriented and attention to accuracy
• Ability to exercise discretion with confidential matters
• Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely

Compensation Range

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $38.00/hour. Salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of this rate.
