Howden Private Capital is seeking a highly motivated Credit Team Intern to support the underwriting, structuring, and execution of complex credit and insurance-linked financing solutions. This role provides hands-on exposure to private credit, structured insurance products, and transaction execution.
Assist in evaluation of new credit opportunities
Support financial analysis and review of financial statements
Help build and maintain financial models
Prepare underwriting materials and credit memos
Conduct industry and company research
Assist in due diligence processes
Compile data from stakeholders and advisors
Support monitoring of portfolio exposures
Prepare reports and updates
Track market developments
Assist in structuring credit solutions
Support term sheets and documentation
Coordinate with internal teams
Maintain databases and trackers
Assist with presentations
Provide ad hoc analytical support
Pursuing degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Understanding of financial statements
Exposure to live credit transactions
Experience with senior professionals
Development of financial modeling skills
