As a Data Scientist Intern, you will work collaboratively with the business areas in a fast-paced agile environment to predict risk, optimize customer retention, detect anomalies, and enhance process efficiencies using internal and third-party data. You will have the opportunity to have hands-on experience with insurance risk, claims and retention models, data visualization, model development using generalized linear models as well as machine learning and AI techniques.
Students enrolled in a Data Scientist related program who have strong written and verbal communication skills, good analytical and problem-solving abilities along with a passion for harnessing big data for business insights should consider joining our team!
This position is an in-office role located in West Bend, WI or Madison, WI. No remote opportunities for this position are available at this time.

Over 130 years ago, a fire roared through the city of West Bend, WI. This tragedy was one of the worst for our community and touched the lives of many people. Because of that fire, our company was formed. And even then, we began to show that something good can come from something bad.
