
Summer 2027 Intern - Product Management, Global Alta Platform (MBA) The Product Management Intern will partner with the Global Alta Product Management team to support the development of future beverage systems and platform innovations. This role provides exposure to product strategy, consumer insights, portfolio planning, and cross-functional product development within a global innovation organization. This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit Schedule:The KDP Summer 2027 Intern Program runs from June 7th - August 13th, 2027Location: Burlington, MA or Benton Harbor, MIFull-time; 40 hours per weekMonday-Friday8:00am until 5:00pmHybridKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of strategic recommendations for the Alta platform by evaluating market trends, consumer needs, competitive activity, and emerging beverage opportunities.Conduct analyses of consumer insights, market performance, financial projections, and business metrics to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.Assist in building business cases and strategic assessments for new products, consumables, and platform enhancements.Partner with Product Management, R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams to support key product development initiatives.Support product planning activities by helping define consumer requirements, value propositions, and portfolio opportunities.Contribute to stage-gate development activities through project tracking, risk assessment, and preparation of leadership reviews.Evaluate tradeoffs among consumer value, cost, complexity, and strategic fit to inform product recommendations.Develop executive presentations and supporting materials for senior leadership decision-making.Analyze sales trends, forecast data, and market performance to inform short- and long-term Alta product pipeline strategies.Support competitive benchmarking efforts across beverage systems, consumables, and adjacent categories.Partner with Consumer Insights teams to synthesize research findings into actionable product and portfolio recommendations.Identify opportunities to improve consumer satisfaction, business performance, and platform growth through data-driven recommendations.Present findings, analyses, and strategic recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders and product leadership.What You'll LearnHow global product strategies and roadmaps are developed and managed.How consumer insights, business performance, and market trends influence innovation investment decisions.How cross-functional teams collaborate to bring new products and technologies to market.Best practices in product portfolio management, commercialization, and executive decision-making.Exposure to the end-to-end innovation process from concept development through launch planning.

Currently pursuing an MBA degree with a concentration in Product Management, Marketing, Strategy, Operations, or a related discipline.Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Design, Business, Engineering and/or related field requiredCombination of marketing, technical, or engineering background.Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.Experience developing executive-level presentations and communicating complex information clearly.Ability to synthesize large amounts of consumer, market, and business data into actionable insights.Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.Interest in consumer products, innovation, product strategy, and portfolio management.Up to 20% TravelLocated in Benton Harbor, MI or Burlington, MAPlease Note: You must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
