As a Summer 2027 Intern – Automation and Controls Engineering at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), you will experience working on a team of experienced, multisite Automation and Controls Engineers who bridge the gap between manufacturing and information technology! You will have the opportunity to lead/support a wide range of Engineering initiatives/projects in the controls, automation, and operational technology space across our Refreshment Beverages manufacturing facilities! Shift/Schedule:The KDP 2027 Summer Intern Program will run from June 7 - August 13, 2027Full-time; 40 hours per weekMonday-Friday8:00am until 5:00pmHybrid schedule in our Frisco, TX headquarters As an Automation and Controls Engineering Intern you will:Connect manufacturing equipment data to AI systems for anomaly detectionUpdate the controls asset lifecycle database and Power BI DashboardSupport controls obsolescence mitigation projects

Elements of the KDP Internship Program include:Engaging and partnering on innovative projects to gain experience in a challenging, cross functional team environmentParticipate in meet & greets and lunch & learns with KDP executives and other organization leadersReceive professional development training such as networking, professional skills development and presentingBe paired with a mentor to enhance your knowledge of other parts of the business and build your networkComplete a project from start to finish and present it and your takeaways to your team, department vice president and other KDP stakeholders

Total Rewards:

$31.00/hourPaid bi-weekly$2,500 Sign-on Bonus, paid within 30 days of employment

Requirements:

Must be an undergraduate currently enrolled in a full-time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Technology, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or another related fieldDesired interest and understanding of physical security, asset protection, geo-politics, travel risk, and crisis managementAvailable to work 40 hours per week (M-F, 8am-5pm) and travel up to 10%Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills including excellent listening, written, and verbal abilitiesAbility to work cross-functionally, be independently driven, and a self-starterStrong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointPower BI, project management, and process improvement skills are preferredPlease note: You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
