Job Description

Are you an aspiring electrical engineer with a passion for building systems and a desire to make a real impact? Join our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) team for an exciting summer internship where you’ll gain hands-on experience working on innovative projects that shape the built environment.
As an intern, you’ll collaborate with seasoned professionals to design, analyze, and optimize electrical systems in commercial buildings. From lighting and power distribution to energy efficiency and sustainable solutions, this is your opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges while developing essential skills for a successful engineering career.
We’re looking for motivated and curious individuals eager to contribute to cutting-edge projects and grow in a supportive and dynamic team environment.
The Milhouse Summer Internship program will begin in early June 2026 and end around mid-August 2026.

What you will do:

  • Assist with designing to client and regulatory requirements.
  • Shop drawing review and disposition for electrical equipment.
  • Prepare project documents and reports.
  • Lighting Design layout and lighting software.
  • Power Design for 13KV and below.
  • Data and document entry into various platforms.
  • Assist with CAD and MicroStation.

What we are looking for:

  • Completion of two years or more of engineering classwork at an ABET accredited institution.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • AutoCAD and REVIT experience preferred.
  • Ability to execute efficiently within a time sensitive deliverable schedule.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to plan and organize daily tasks effectively.
