Internal Medicine Physician Responsibilities:
- Provides general medical care to health center patients.
- Evaluates patient’s health status and initiates therapeutic and preventive measures.
- Educates patients by teaching preventative care.
- Documents patients’ history and treatments.
- Performs medical triage.
- Stabilizes emergencies prior to hospitalization.
- Orders and interprets diagnostic tests. Follows-up on patients.
- When appropriate, refers patients to specialists or other physicians.

QualificationsWhat You Bring to Refuah:
- Current NYS Registered Nurse License
- BLS certified
- Two years' experience as an RN preferred but not required
- Chronic Care Management
- Ability and willingness to drive to all locations as needed based on the health center needs
- Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships with others and works effectively to solve problems and issues
- Ability to read, write, understand and speak English in a clear and concise manner
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform a variety of clinical procedures relevant to practice area
- Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards
- Ability to use basic electronic data entry and retrieval system
- Experience with Electronic Medical Software
- Eligible to Work in the US
