Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, financial performance, and guest satisfaction of the restaurant. This role manages both FOH and BOH teams, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to brand standards, and achievement of financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop management team and hourly staff to deliver excellent hospitality
- Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and shift execution across all departments
- Manage P&L, labor, food and beverage costs, and overall financial performance
- Drive guest satisfaction through strong service standards and problem resolution
- Implement training programs to ensure consistency in service and operations
- Maintain compliance with all safety, health, and employment regulations
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and staff retention
QualificationsRequirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or business preferred
- 5+ years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Proven P&L management and experience with budgeting, labor, and cost control
- Strong leadership and staff development skills
- Excellent customer service and guest relations focus
- Proficiency in scheduling, inventory, POS systems, and compliance with safety regulations
- Ability to multitask and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
