Dishwashers keep the restaurant running by ensuring all kitchenware and service items are cleaned and sanitized. This role also assists with basic cleaning and prep tasks to support the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
Operate dishwashing equipment to clean plates, utensils, and cookware
Maintain the cleanliness of the dish area, trash disposal, and kitchen support areas
Follow sanitation and safety standards consistently
Assist with basic prep or cleaning tasks assigned by kitchen leadership
Ensure all clean items are properly stored and organized for service
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
QualificationsRequirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous dishwashing or kitchen support experience a plus, but not required
Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards
Ability to work quickly and manage a steady flow of dishes in a high-volume environment
Physical stamina to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to assist with basic kitchen prep and cleaning tasks as needed
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
