POSITION PURPOSE: The SUD Supervisor works closely with the Senior Manager to maximize clinical productivity, financial performance, and customer service, along with a team of fellow supervisors. Assumes administrative responsibility for the department including staffing, business planning, and ongoing financial and operational analysis. Responsible for finance, human resources, business planning and development, as well as client and staff satisfaction. Implements Pittsburgh Mercy’s policies and procedures. Ensures departmental procedures and goals are met. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations on federal, state, and local levels, as well as Pittsburgh Mercy’s philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Adult Outpatient program along with a team of other practice administrators, by ensuring the productivity and key performance indicators of the unit are consistently met.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate performance of employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all programmatic and organizational policies and procedures, as well as regulatory policies and State licensing requirements.
  • Engage in communication and collaboration with community partners and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALILFICATIONS:

  • Master’s in Human Services and 3 years of direct care experience (1 as supervisor/lead). Graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum
  • At least one year of direct care experience working with clients with substance use disorders.
  • Must be licensed (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist) or actively working toward licensure.
  • If applicant is licensed or credentialed, applicant is responsible for ensuring all requirements for licensure are kept up to date and maintained within guidelines of their accrediting board.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS AND BENEFITS:

Work Schedule: This is an Exempt (salary) position. Monday through Friday, primarily 9:00am-5:00pm, with at least one evening a week, and flexibility as needed based on the needs of the program.
