The SSTL will be responsible for the team's on-time delivery at each program milestone, from concept through vehicle launch, including presenting progress updates to management and senior leadership. Key performance indicators (KPIs), along with cost, weight, and investment (C/W/I) metrics, will be used to monitor program success. The SSTL will also be required to support pre-production and production builds on-site at domestic and international assembly plants, based on program needs.
For serial-life programs, SSTL will be responsible for leading serial-life quality and warranty activities, including addressing any IQS concerns related to the programs they support. SSTL will also work closely with the SSTM to provide C/W/I and timing inputs for program bulletins and partner with the core team to implement approved changes.
Key Responsibilities
This position requires strong matrix leadership skills to effectively lead design and development engineers in achieving program objectives. SSTL will also work closely with, and take directions from, the Subsystem Technical Manager (SSTM). Travel may be required to support supplier, engineering, and plant activities.
