
The Denver Waldorf School (DWS) is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and adaptable individuals to join our substitute teaching team for Grades 1–12.
Substitute Teachers provide classroom instruction during planned and unplanned teacher absences, helping ensure continuity in student learning and maintaining a positive, engaging classroom environment. Assignments may include a variety of grade levels and subject areas and may range from single-day to longer-term placements.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with students of different ages, able to follow lesson plans and classroom routines, and enjoys contributing to a collaborative school community.
The Denver Waldorf School is a friendly and vibrant urban K–12 school serving approximately 300 students in Denver, Colorado, with the Rocky Mountains just a short drive away. Founded in 1974, DWS is a fully accredited member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) and the Association of Colorado Independent Schools (ACIS).
Knowledge of Waldorf education is preferred but not required.
