Join Central Missouri Community Action (CMCA) as we lead the way in early childhood education! Head Start and Early Head Start are dedicated to providing quality education and care to children and families.

Position: Full-Time Substitute Teacher

Location: Columbia and Jefferson City Areas

Pay: $16.31 to $19.57 per hour

As a Substitute Teacher, you'll work with infants and toddlers up to 5 years old, helping them develop and grow through engaging early childhood education.

Job Requirements:

  • Requires 60 college credit hours. Highly desired: Either an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood, or a related degree with some coursework in Early Childhood, or a CDA.
  • Experience teaching preschool age children required. Daycare, preschool, or childcare work experience is helpful.
  • Prefer experience working with low-income families and children.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift, Tuesday through Friday
