The Monroe County Board of Education has openings for Substitute Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year and is now accepting applications for this position.

Position Title:

• Substitute Teacher

Qualifications:

• Applicant must hold a valid WV Teaching Certificate appropriate for the grade level of the students.

Salary:

• $181.50 Daily Rate with bachelor's degree - Salary based on experience and education level per Monroe County BOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.

Term:

• School Year 2026-2027
