Teachers On Demand is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to join our team in Holly Springs, NC. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a seamless educational experience for students during teacher absences. You will have the chance to work in a variety of classroom settings, gaining valuable experience and positively impacting students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by classroom teachers.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
• Collaborate with school staff and administration to support student success.
• Follow all school policies and procedures, including safety and attendance reporting.
• Serve at all campuses as assigned based on scheduling needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution (required).
• Valid teaching certification or license (preferred).
• Two to three years of recent experience working with children in a K–12 educational setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in elementary, middle, and high school environments.
• Available to work two to three days each week across all campuses
• Commitment to providing high-quality instruction and fostering a positive learning experience.

Pay:

Short Term: $15.00 per hour

Long Term:: Up To $17.50 per hour
