Substitute Licensed Teachers for ECFE
We are currently accepting applications for licensed substitutes who are interested in teaching in our Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) preschool classes on an on-call basis. Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose School District # 877 requires that all substitutes have a current teaching license from the Minnesota Department of Education ***this includes Short Call Substitute Teachers, see below for more information.***

*** Short Call Substitutes***
If you hold a 4-year degree, but not in the field of education, you may apply to become a Short Call Substitute Teacher through PELSB Please visit their Online Licensing System to obtain your Short Call Substitute Teaching license, prior to completing this application to become substitute teacher for BHM Schools. The entire licensing process is done directly with PELSB Educator Licensing and may take 6-8 weeks to complete. Applicants are responsible for all fees associated with obtaining their license and ISD 877 cannot guarantee how many days you may or may not work once you obtain your license. MDE cannot complete your application until they receive all pieces of your application, including payment. After you obtain your Short-Call Substitute License, please return to complete this application.
