Are you a compassionate and reliable individual looking to make a meaningful difference in someone's life? Siffrin is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Substitute Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

About the Role:

As a Substitute DSP, you will support individuals in their homes and communities, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. This is an on-call, as-needed position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the human services field.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Assisting with daily living activities (e.g., personal care, meal preparation, medication administration)
• Supporting individuals in pursuing their personal goals and interests
• Facilitating community integration and participation in social activities
• Providing transportation to appointments and community outings
• Maintaining a safe and supportive living environment
• Documenting services provided and reporting any changes in individuals' status

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (some college or relevant certifications a plus)
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required (we provide training!)
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive company vehicles are required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
