Job Description

POSITION:

• Substitute Cafeteria Cook at LaBrae Local School District

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Any combination of training and work experience that indicates possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below.
• Successful BCI/FBI fingerprinting.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• Prepare and cook a variety of food items using standardized recipes and established menus.
• Ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, and compliant with dietary guidelines. Keep the kitchen a clean and organized.
• Help with preparation and inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies in accordance with safety regulations.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols to prevent contamination and ensure food quality.
• Assist in serving meals during lunch periods and managing food service lines.

SALARY:

• Board-approved substitute hourly rate.
