The Aga Khan Academy Dhaka is the fourth Academy in the global network of the Aga Khan Academies. Purpose:
To build an innovative MYP and DP curriculum, which prepares students from Bangladesh to be ethical and pluralistic leaders for their communities. To provide students with learning experiences that are engaging, relevant, challenging and significant through enabling inquiry, based on the beliefs and values of the IB within the context of the mission and ethos of the Aga Khan Academy Dhaka. To ensure that students make progress as a result of their learning, to monitor this progress and plan interventions, as necessary, to maximise each student’s achievements.

Many of its institutions have been operating in the developing world for over 50 years. Today, the Network employs over 80,000 people. Its budget for non-profit social and cultural activities stands at US$ 950 million. The Network’s economic development arm, the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development, generates annual revenues of US$ 4.3 billion, and all of its surpluses are reinvested in further development activities, usually in fragile, remote or post-conflict regions.
