NOTICE OF VACANCY--Service Personnel

Position Title:

  • Substitute Aide

Job Description:

  • Assist teacher in instructional activities as directed
  • Share in daily activities during the school day
  • Share in responsibility of protecting students, equipment, materials and facilities
  • Perform limited, rotating supervisory duties not related to instruction
  • Provide necessary assistance during transportation to and from school and for special school events, assist student(s) on and off bus, if needed
  • Maintain and/or upgrade skills
  • Maintain positive work habits
  • Perform duties efficiently and productively.
  • Perform any and all other job-related duties as assigned by the principal and/or the Superintendent

Qualifications:

  • Must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent; or successfully completing GED program
  • Must meet qualifications for aide
  • Must have passed aide test.
  • Before beginning any job assignment, applicant must be adult and child CPR/AED/First Aid certified or be willing to become certified
  • Must be willing to complete CORE and Specialized Health Care Training with Certified School Nurse
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Must pass a drug screening

Effective Date: School Year 2026-2027

Salary: $133.05 Daily Rate
