Job Description

Better Life Partners is now part of the Groups Recover Together care network! We’re combining the strengths of both organizations to provide faster access to comprehensive addiction treatment while preserving the flexible, compassionate care BLP partners know and trust. This position supports care for BLP’s member base and interacts with BLP staff.

Salary Range: $62,245 - $72,628.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Facilitating group therapy sessions for clients.
  • Familiarizing with and utilizing our evidence-based curriculum guides and training.
  • Providing detailed feedback and maintaining clinical progress notes on clients.
  • Counseling one-on-one with clients, when deemed necessary.
  • Participating in our community research and public health partners’ research and data collection efforts.
  • Formulating and maintaining treatment plans for each client served.
  • Collaborating with community partners and our providers on case management and care coordination efforts.
  • Adhering to professional and ethical work standards, enforcing appropriate counselor/client boundaries.
  • Managing group dynamics and problem behavior with strong, professional judgement and in a way that does not jeopardize group integrity.
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state and local regulations for licensing and billing purposes.
  • Attending and engaging in regular training, company meetings, monthly counselor consultation, and supervision as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Graduate degree in mental health, social work, psychology, addictions or related field.
  • Maine License as LADC, CADC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCISW.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with substance use or related field
  • Ability to work 2 evenings per week up to 8:30pm as needed.
  • Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting.
  • High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
